Creative Technology Center

The Creative Technology Center (CTC) is open to all college and conservatory students. Located on the first floor, below the Stan Getz Library, the CTC assists students with technical questions and facilitates collaboration and experimentation.
Workstations at the CTC include:
- Mac Studio computers with music and multimedia production software.
- Laptop workspaces with external displays, MIDI controllers and wireless keyboard and mouse.
- Synth stations with audio/MIDI interfaces for recording, sampling and sequencing.
- CDJs and turntables for DJ practice.
Immersive Technology Lab
150 Mass Ave., Rm. 106
Located at the CTC, the Immersive Technology Lab (ITL) exposes visitors to emerging technologies such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR), 360º video and other immersive media.
The ITL offers:
- PC workstations with audio, multimedia, game production and VR software.
- VR headsets and ambisonic mics for circulation.
- Support for class visits, club meetings or student photoshoots.

Equipment Circulation
The CTC has an inventory of equipment available for in facility use. In addition, a catalog of items which may circulate out of the facility is also available. Certain items require training and certification prior to reservation.

- Recording equipment
- MIDI controllers
- Cameras and lighting equipment
- Synthesizers and drum machines
